based Bikers Against Child
Abuse of Northeast Kansas
were returning home after

visiting children they had
helped (earlier in the
day they had participated
in a ride to

benefit the cause) when
one of the members
was hit by lightning.
The victim, 44, was

alone on his motorcycle.
“Strangest thing,” said Jefferson
County Sheriff Jeff Herrig.
